| 英文描述 | A rare acute hemorrhagic abomasitis called 'Braxy' is caused by CLOSTRIDIUM SEPTICUM. Usually occurs in winter. Diagnose by identification of lesions and C. SEPTICUM at necropsy. Probably due to a toxin produced by the organism in the abomasal lesion. Reports of this disease in North America are uncommon. CLOSTRIDIUM SORDELLI has been isolated from abomasums of sheep that died suddenly with abomasitis and from lesions of the vulva and vagina associated with sudden death. |
